Creators Counsel provides specialist content legal advice to television, film, and audio, content creators, working in partnership with legal and business affairs practice, JL Media.
Together Creators Counsel and JL Media are a niche, “one-stop shop” for high-quality content legal and business affairs advice for the media production industry.

Creators Counsel was founded by experienced media lawyers Prash Naik, Emily Barber and Sophie Argent who first worked together in Channel 4’s award winning legal department, where Prash was General Counsel. Between them, they have a wealth of specialist pre-publication experience, having advised and defended some of the most ground-breaking, challenging and innovative television and film content.
Creators Counsel continues its founders’ hallmark “can-do” approach to enable their clients to fulfil their creative ambitions, while ensuring that clients are always protected with the most robust legal advice.
